Prose from ET inspired by my music...... →
I just reread this again. I’m not sure if I had just skimmed it in the past, or if something about it changed, in one of those crazy ways that words can grow and evolve as time passes us by. Either way, I thought I’d share it again. Elijah is one of my favorite writers on Tumblr and he wrote this piece after listening to my song “On The Eve Of The Death Of A Beautiful...

A Teaser Post? (and a free mp3)
Either that… or just annoying possibly. I have a fact-laden story to share, but haven’t had time to write it up yet. It’s a good one—I promise—and it should be posted in the next day or sooner if I decide not to sleep.  In the meantime, you can get the Annabelle & Bear movie version of “Get Back Up (Hallelujah)” for free if you sign up for the...

Best Mediocre Review So Far
The reviews of the new album have been coming in and you know how that is. If you don’t know how that is, just imagine that you do and nod your head smugly. Then, I get an unsolicited review that blew me away. It is so accurate that I feel like he was somehow in my head as I wrote the album. Creepy. Mediocrity Is An Adequate Lover review : When recording this album Brion Riborn...

Live Streaming Of New Album
The new site is fully up now, and you can stream the new album under the music tab. Soon to be on sale on iTunes and Amazon and every other way possible. Or pick it up at a live show. That way would be the most fun.

Could Mediocre Be Great?
Y’all will have to judge for yourself and let me know in a few weeks from now when the new album “Mediocrity Is An Adequate Lover” hits the streets, iTunes, and Amazon. For those of you who have been patiently waiting, I hope it lives up to your expectations. If you find yourself disappointed, “The Generous Pirates” is following quickly behind.

Embracing The Ever Changing
First, your arms end up moving a lot. So do your legs. In fact, your whole body moves. With it, in it, through it. That’s the trick of life, I suppose. The part that gets you labeled crazy: Embracing the unembraceable. Like a moth, flying into the flame instead of waiting for the spider to wrap its web around your short breath of a life. A fire both eternally the same and ever changing.

BOOK REVIEW: "Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public...
Everyone needs to read this book. Unfortunately most will not. And if you’re like me, you grew up on television and never knew the world when it was based in print, so while reading, this will be a hard pill to swallow at times. While I can’t agree with Mr. Postman on all points, his basic assertion that Huxley—not Orwell—was right is true to the core. (If you...
